Our Leadership Team

Northstar’s leadership brings together backgrounds in international relations, policy analysis, medical science, fundraising, finance, and law. Despite this diversity, we are united by our direct experience in Europe and Southeast Asia. Several of our team members met as students of International Relations in the Czech Republic, and have since built careers across various sectors before re-uniting to form Northstar.

Anna Anufrikova

Chief Executive Officer

Anna is Northstar Strategy Group’s CEO, and oversees our critical operations in the European Union and Southeast Asia. Before joining Northstar, she worked in the medical field, an experience that shaped the meticulous, people-first approach she brings to running the company’s core systems and administrative functions.

Ye Khaung Htet

Partnership & Business Development Specialist

Ye Khaung manages Northstar Strategy Group’s growth through strategic partnerships, donor engagement, and business development, using his background in international development and fundraising. He works closely with NGOs, multilateral organisations, academic institutions, and private-sector partners to design impactful programmes and secure sustainable opportunities, strengthening institutions and driving sustainable development.

Nathan Sims

Fundraising Consultant

Nathan heads Northstar Strategy Group’s fundraising projects, coordinating with international organisations, academic institutions, private donors, and other firms: these activities ensure that Northstar’s partner NGOs have consistent and reliable sources of funding.

Eric Vadan

Risk Management Consultant

Eric is Northstar Strategy Group’s risk management consultant, identifying vulnerabilities and minimising risks, helping to design Northstar’s strategic direction as well as ensuring compliance with all industry and professional standards.

Finn Chapman

Communication & Design Manager

Finn oversees communication and design at Northstar Strategy Group, with a background that combines graphic design & digital marketing with international affairs & policy research. He handles critical digital infrastructure, maintains meticulous standards of design, and ensures that Northstar communicates as effectively as possible with our specialised audience.

Sovanthep Sous

Operations Manager

Sovanthep oversees day-to-day operations and administrative execution to ensure that Northstar Strategy Group runs efficiently and effectively. In her role, she manages project implementation and works closely with partner NGOs to coordinate fundraising activities, maintain strong communication, and provide regular progress updates across teams.

Harvey Young

Financial Advisor

Harvey manages Northstar Strategy Group’s finances, overseeing budgeting, compliance, and financial planning across the company’s operations in the EU and Southeast Asia. His work ensures that Northstar’s partnerships are backed by sound financial structures, giving those who work with us confidence in Northstar’s financial stability and accountability.

Benicio Franqui

Legal Advisor

Benicio is the Legal Advisor at Northstar Strategy Group. His work involves negotiating and writing the contracts and agreements that support the firm’s talent and partnerships. With experience and a speciality in international law, he helps Northstar cooperate with international firms and grow across borders.
