Promoting a Circular Economy for Cambodia

Northstar recently engaged in the 2026 Cambodia Circular Economy Forum, represented by Ye Khaung Htet. This forum was organised by GIZ, bringing experts in international development into closer contact with local partners in Cambodia.

Together, we discussed sustainable development strategies, green systems of waste management, and reducing the environmental impact of industries such as textiles. At this forum, we reaffirmed and deepened our ties with existing partners, and we were pleased to forge new relationships with institutions in both Cambodia and the European Union.

We were very grateful to meet so many people who share our vision for long-term, impactful international partnerships to achieve stronger sustainable development outcomes across Southeast Asia.

It was a valuable opportunity to learn more about European Union trade and export opportunities, while connecting with like-minded professionals and organisations.

At Northstar, we believe that meaningful international partnerships and cross-border collaboration are essential to long-term sustainable development, so we were happy to take this opportunity to develop new partnerships and strengthen existing ones.
